The farmers of the Murray River in North East Victoria are people who all have one thing in common - they love the land and what it produces. This is evident on market day. Have a chat with them about their life as a producer and about their pride in their region.

Murray Cod is indigenous to the waters of Lake Mulwala and the Murray River system. This fish can grow to over one metre in length. Brimin Lodge farm the Cod at a property near Rutherglen. The Murray Cod is sold in fresh fillets on marketday.

Established in 1993, this vineyard produces grapes for it's own wine labels of Verdelho, Semillon, Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Rose, fortified wines and the famous Cobram Creme are also available.

There are approx. 800 olive trees covering 13 varieties at Glenora Grove. The olive varieties were comprehensively researched, with the aim of growing a mix of table and olive oils that have a range of flavour characteristics. Environmentally grown using a dry land system in support of water conservation.

Murray Estate is a small vineyard and winery overlooking the Murray River. The 2005 Merlot has been allowed to mature in French oak Hogshead barrels for 24 months. The 2004 Shiraz and 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon were basket pressed and then left to mature in French oak barrels for over 2 years.
